Your new health and fitness experience will begin with a personalized Health Assessment, included in your membership. Conducted by a college-degreed exercise professional, this will provide a comprehensive analysis of your current physical condition and includes:

  • Graded cardiovascular capacity test
  • Muscular strength and endurance assessment
  • Health risk assessment
  • Flexibility screening
  • Body composition analysis
  • Resting blood pressure and heart rate
  • Cholesterol & lipid profile

Once you have completed your Health Assessment, our team of fitness professionals will use the results to develop a personalized program that incorporates a healthy combination of exercise, nutrition and education. To keep you motivated, there are a variety of fitness options and specialized, medically-based programs from which you can select. This unique approach is designed to provide for your total fitness, health and medical needs in one facility.

NorthPointe Wellness features state-of-the-art fitness equipment, professional management and staff, as well as a full menu of services designed to create an invigorating, relaxing experience. These will include:

Our full-service locker rooms include complimentary towel service, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizing lotion, shaving cream and hair dryers. In addition, each locker is digitally controlled so you can select your own locker and codes for entry, eliminating the need for keys.

Fit 'n Fun provides a safe, secure, supervised environment for children six months through 10 years of age while their parents are using our Center. Daily activities promote positive health, safety and nutritional practices through fitness, science, arts and crafts, active games and special projects.

This area offers a variety of salads, sandwiches, bakery, sports drinks and foods prepared with your health in mind. Enjoy your healthy snack in our relaxing, comfortable seating area, or take it with you.

As a part of the medical fitness experience, NorthPointe Wellness will offer a wide array of individualized, medically-integrated health education lifestyle programs, conducted by interdisciplinary teams of health and fitness professionals. These programs will combine education, exercise and lifestyle improvements to help participants take control of their health and their lives.

Phase III Cardiac Rehab: The purpose of the Phase III Cardiac Rehab program is to provide a post-rehabilitative environment and comfortably bridge cardiac patients from a formal rehab program to a medically integrated, supervised fitness program and finally an independent exercise program. Program includes pre and post fitness testing, educational sessions with a registered dietician and finally exercise sessions with a Certified Exercise Specialist. All participants must have completed Phase II Cardiac rehab and have a medical referral to join. Cardiac Rehab: 8 weeks (24 sessions).

Diabetes Exercise Program: The purpose of the Diabetes Exercise Program is to educate participants about the importance of exercise in managing blood glucose levels, blood pressure levels and blood lipid levels. The supervised exercise classes will educate participants about the importance of both cardiovascular exercise and resistance training in a comfortable environment that will foster independence. Program includes pre and post fitness testing, educational sessions with a registered dietician and finally exercise sessions with a Certified Exercise Specialist. All participants must have completed a Diabetes Self-Management course and have a medical referral to join. Diabetes Exercise Program: 6 weeks (18 sessions)

Weight Management Program: The weight management program is a wonderful opportunity for members and guests to better their understanding of the intricate relationship between nutrition and exercise. The program combines the knowledge of Nationally Certified and Degreed Fitness Specialists, Registered Dieticians, and Behavior Modification Specialists in a supervised, comfortable environment to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. Program includes pre and post fitness testing, educational sessions with a registered dietician and behavior specialist and finally exercise sessions with a Certified Exercise Specialist. All participants must have a Body Mass Index (BMI) > 25 and have a medical referral to join. Weight Management Program: 6 weeks (24 sessions).

Cancer Exercise Program: The purpose of the Cancer Fitness program is to provide a supportive environment for participants to regain both mental and physical strength lost from the disease and its treatment. This medically integrated fitness program will help participants reach their goals and continue an independent exercise program through one-on-one training sessions. Program includes pre and post fitness testing and 7-hrs of one-on-one personal training. All participants must have a medical referral to join. Cancer Exercise Program: 7 one hour personal training sessions.

Post Physical Rehab Program: The purpose of the Post Physical Rehab Program is to provide a post rehabilitative environment to comfortably bridge orthopedic patients from a formal rehab program to a medically integrated, supervised fitness program and finally an independent exercise program. Program includes pre and post fitness testing and exercise sessions with a Certified Exercise Specialist. All participants must have completed Physical Therapy and have a medical referral to join. Post Physical Rehab Program: 6 weeks (12 sessions).
